Art as a Language of Peace
The 2025 Drawing and Painting Contest “Strokes for Peace” is an invitation to view peace as an everyday construction that is thought about, felt, negotiated, and nurtured; opening new paths of dialogue toward the recognition of diversity.
For children, adolescents, and young people, art and culture are formative experiences: they explore emotions, train the imagination, and strengthen identity and one's own voice. Here, drawing offers a space for healing, transforming pain into an expression that repairs and strengthens, fostering socio-emotional resilience.
We thank the Mexican Stock Exchange Group and the MUBO Stock Exchange Museum for opening their doors to us for the eighth consecutive year and making this exhibition possible with the works of the 1,016 participants in this year's contest, bringing the talent of Mexico's children and youth closer to the public.
Those who participated in this contest transformed art into a language of peace. May these strokes encourage us to practice it every day with respect, dialogue, and dignity.
